# SideFX Houdini Tutorial - Chapter 1

This **SideFX Houdini** tutorial, presented in structured chapters, is the first Persian-language Houdini course in Iran and worldwide. It was taught and released in 2011 by Sadjad Jahangiri and is now offered to Persian-speaking audiences around the globe.


 

Houdini is a full-featured, **node-based 3D software** used for visual effects, animation, and motion graphics in cinema, television, and digital media. While other programs exist in this field, Houdini has its own unique features and operational logic.



I started exploring various 3D software programs in 2009 (1388 in the Iranian calendar) and gradually moved to Houdini. Through in-depth exploration, I was able to teach and release this Persian-language tutorial. Now, in 2023, I am preparing a new series of advanced and high-level Houdini tutorials, which will be released soon.
