This tutorial on **Autodesk Mudbox**, the first Persian-language Mudbox course in Iran and worldwide, was taught in 2013 by Sadjad Jahangiri and is now presented to you.


 

Mudbox is a powerful tool for creating 3D models and characters, as well as sculpting and texturing them. It is developed by the renowned company Autodesk. Mudbox functions similarly to **ZBrush**, but they differ in details, capacities, and workflow. Early on, I was drawn to Mudbox’s clean, organized, and precise design, which made the complexities of ZBrush seem less desirable to me—although ZBrush remains a top software for sculpting and character creation in animation, games, and cinema.



In this tutorial, you will learn how to work with Mudbox’s **tools, menus, layers, and other essential sections**, providing a solid foundation for getting started with the software.
