This tutorial on Autodesk Mudbox, the first Persian-language Mudbox course in Iran and worldwide, was taught in 2013 by Sajad Jahangiri and is now presented to you.
Mudbox is a powerful tool for creating 3D models and characters, as well as sculpting and texturing them. It is developed by the renowned company Autodesk. Mudbox functions similarly to ZBrush, but they differ in details, capacities, and workflow. Early on, I was drawn to Mudbox’s clean, organized, and precise design, which made the complexities of ZBrush seem less desirable to me—although ZBrush remains a top software for sculpting and character creation in animation, games, and cinema.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to work with Mudbox’s tools, menus, layers, and other essential sections, providing a solid foundation for getting started with the software.
