Filming, camera control, and the use of tracking data are important and fascinating topics in VFX, as well as in animation and game production. In this video tutorial, I teach these concepts for use in Vue.
The tutorial covers creating cameras, controlling the field of view, importing tracking data, using sequential frames and live-action footage as camera backgrounds for matchmoving, and controlling camera paths with animation. Additional Vue tutorials can be accessed through the training section of the website.
Note: When I started learning Vue in 2008, I had prepared English-language tutorials in which the instructor pronounced it as “Vui,” which influenced me to pronounce it the same way in my own tutorials. The correct pronunciation, however, is “Vue.” Due to the limited resources and the early stage of this program’s recognition in Iran, this was natural. These details reflect the originality and early stage of these tutorials, and personally, I find it meaningful as a reminder of where I started, and now, in 2023, I continue to progress.
