Spider-Man Character Rigging in Maya - Part 1

Rigging and character motion control are fundamental and essential topics in the world of VFX, animation, and gaming, as the entire animation process revolves around character rigging and skeletal setup. In recent years,

rigging, skinning, and motion capture technologies have advanced significantly.

In this tutorial, I teach you how to rig the famous Spider-Man character. The lesson covers creating joints, connecting them properly, and correctly positioning the skeleton within the character’s body so that everything aligns accurately. You will also learn how to link the joints according to the skeletal network of the human body.

This is the first part of the tutorial. Whenever the second part is ready, it will be made available on the Cinema Engineer website.
