Vue is a program specifically designed for creating ecosystems and natural environments, and in its recent versions, it has added many new tools and features. In this video tutorial, I demonstrate how to create an island within a body of water using Vue’s tools and features. I also cover how to use lighting and the Render Pass workflow.
Vue’s engine provides highly realistic, real-time rendering, and its natural atmospheres allow the creation of very realistic environments with various weather conditions and times of day. In this tutorial, I teach the main workflow for these processes and, finally, explain how to export Render Passes.
Note: It’s worth mentioning that when I started learning Vue in 2008, I created some English tutorials where the instructor pronounced the program as “Viewy,” which is why I have always pronounced it that way in my lessons. The correct pronunciation is “Vue.” Given the limited resources at the time and the program’s lack of popularity in Iran, this was natural. These details highlight the originality and age of these tutorials and, for me, serve as a beautiful reminder of how I started alone and have continued progressing up to 2023.
